Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living Programme - 
begins - 14.11.18 

This eight week programme teaches about deepening your mindfulness with compassion. Devised By Erik van den Brink, Psychiatrist, and MBSR and MBST teacher trainer  and Frits Koster, Health Care professional, MBSR and MBCT Teacher Educator Editor of several books on Mindfulness. The Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living programme presents a way of learning how to face life's pressures by cultivating kindness and compassion – beginning with ourselves. Compassion involves both sensitivity to and awareness of our own and others’ suffering and the courage and strength to cope with it. Drawing on the work of experts in the field e.g  Paul Gilbert, Kristin Neff, Christopher Germer and Tara Brach, Erik van den Brink and Frits Koster have put together this  eight stage step-by-step compassion training programme, supported by practical exercises and  audio downloads and builds on basic mindfulness skills. Noreen Kelly has taken part in this programme both as a participant and has completed the teacher training programme delivered by Erik and Frits. As the programme is grounded in  ancient wisdom and modern science, it demonstrates how being compassionate shapes our minds, hearts and brains, and benefits our health and relationships. This training programme will be helpful to a wide variety of people struggling with the difficulties of modern life. Suitable also for those with various types of  mental health problems, and can be an effective tool in coping with low self-esteem or everyday inner struggles. It helps participants to experience more warmth, safeness, acceptance and connection with themselves and others. Some experience of Mindfulness practice is necessary for participation in this course. 

MBCL -  8 weekly sessions of 2.5 hour duration from 19.30 to 22.00 hours each Wednesday commencing 14th of November 2018. Also a half day of silent practice - Sunday the 6th January 2019.  
Overall cost €320 - includes notes and audios for practice.  Numbers are limited so register ASAP. 
Break for Christmas on 26th of December 2018 and the 2nd of January 2019.
Final session is January the 16th 2019.

Mindfulness Meditation Course
6 weekly sessions 

Course suitable for beginners and those wishing to refresh to renew their practice or to go deeper into the foundations of mindfulness and its positive impact on Physical emotional and mental health. 

Wednesdays - beginning 30th of January 2019
6 sessions of 2 hour duration - €150 - includes course notes and CD/audio for home practice. Start 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

 Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Programme - March 2019
 

Medical mindfulness model - recognised and researched worldwide for its effectiveness in reducing and managing the ill effects of stress and many physical and mental ailments. This course is based on experiential learning rather than lecture based. Really engages the participants in the practice and recognition of the role mindfulness can play in ones life through experiencing it for oneself. See home page for more information. Noreen Kelly is a certified teacher of MBSR, mindfulness based stress redugtion, the groundbreaking course devised by Jon Kabat Zinn, founder of MBSR and the Mindfulness Research movement.  
  
8 weekly sessions of 2.5 hour duration from 19.30 to 22.00 hours each Wednesday and one all day mindfulness experiential session - one Saturday-
Overall cost €350 - includes Course, all day retreat, (spa for the mind) course manual and 3 mindfulness meditation CD's.
