Noreen has been practicing mindfulness meditation for over twenty years. Beginning her own practice at a very stressful time in her life she continues today for the benefits she experiences. An accredited counselor with IACP, she has many years experience in leading groups and working one to one with clients. She uses her advanced CBT skills of Mindfulness, among others, in her therapeutic practice with clients. Noreen delivers Mindfulness seminars and courses in a variety of  workplaces including Northside Counselling Service Ltd, ESB, ESBI, Diageo, Wonga,  Department of Health and the Attorney Generals Office and for the pupils of St Fintans Boys Secondary School.  
 
She holds an honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy with Middlesex University and her training includes Person Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Expressive Arts/Art Therapy, Spirituality and holds a Teachers Certificate for Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Depression - from the European Institute for Mindfulness based Approaches. She adheres in her mindfulness practice trainings to the Irish Good Practice Guidelines for Teaching Mindfulness-Based Courses developed by the Mindfulness Teachers Network Ireland. Her Mindfulness Meditation introductory course draws from the work of the renowned Jon Kabat-Zinn,  Eckhart Tolle, Thomas Keating, John Main and others. Noreens' many years of mindfulness practice and christian spirituality are reflected in her introductory course. The MBSR course is the Medical Model of world wide renown course developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Noreen is also trained to teach Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy or MBCT (J. Mark G. Williams , John D. Teasdale), for depression, a way researched to help prevent depression relapse. Also trained in Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living and .B Foundations for teachers.
